Nadar builds a software platform that combines satellite data and AI to monitor forest cover, deforestation and carbon stocks. Its EUDR module helps companies that import or export commodities to the EU document deforestation-free sourcing, and its carbon MRV module supports REDD+ and afforestation or reforestation projects in tropical, temperate and mangrove forests. The company was founded in Leipzig in 2022 by Caroline Busse and Marco Eberle, and its legal entity is Nature's Radar LLP, registered in London.
