Timber logistics & traceabilityLudvika, Sweden
Svepreg AB, based in Ludvika, develops ikorni, a timber measurement system that combines cameras, AI, positioning and vehicle data. It reads the logs during the crane's normal loading work and compiles a digital record of the whole load without a separate measuring step. In September 2026 the company announced a pilot with Sveaskog, installed on one timber truck in late August, with Biometria involved in collecting reference data. The CEO is Pontus Lindberg.

Sveaskog tests a crane that records what it is lifting
Roundwood is normally counted when it reaches the mill. Svepreg's ikorni reads each grab as the timber goes on, and by the company's account assembles a record of the full load without anyone stopping to measure it. The Ludvika firm says it went in at the end of August, on a single vehicle, with Biometria's head of measurement development following the trial. No accuracy figures have been published.
