Satellites on Fire

Satellites on Fire runs a wildfire detection and monitoring platform that combines satellite data refreshed every 10 minutes, tower-mounted optical and thermal cameras, lightning detection and AI-based fire-spread prediction. Alerts go out by push, email, WhatsApp or SMS to firefighters, civil protection agencies and landowners, and forestry estates are among its users. It has raised a USD 2.7 million seed round led by Dalus Capital, and Allianz Seguros uses its technology for a wildfire detection service in Spain.
